One Tap Pickleball helps neighbors and clubs organize pickleball games: invitations, one-tap RSVPs, guest names and a gate list. It is operated by Stargazers Unite LLC, doing business as Clayton Method (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Details your organizer enters or you give us: your name, mobile number and email address.
- What you do in the app: your RSVP answers, and the names of any guests you bring.
- Play and scores: who checked in, which court and team you played on, your partners and opponents, game scores, and a skill rating if you or your organizer enter one. This is used to rotate players fairly and keep score.
- Billing (organizers only): your subscription status and dates. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Text sign-up: your number, the time you signed up, when you confirmed, and if you opted out.
- Technical records: a sign-in session on your device, and a log of messages we send you (recipient, time and delivery status).
How we use it
To run the games you are invited to: send invitations and reminders, record your RSVP, show organizers who is coming, produce a gate access list, sign you in with a one-time code, honor your text preferences, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages and mobile information
We will not share your mobile phone number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, other than the service providers below that deliver messages on our behalf. Who can see your information
- Organizers of games you are invited to can see your name, contact details, RSVP and guests.
- Other players can see your first name and last initial on the list of who is playing.
- Community gates or facilities: organizers may share a gate access list (names, and sometimes contact details) with the community or facility that controls access to the courts.
- Service providers that process information only to run One Tap Pickleball for us: Vercel (website hosting), Turso (database), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text delivery) and Stripe (organizer subscription payments).
- When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are on an organizer's list. Ask your organizer or email us to remove you and we will delete your profile. We keep a minimal record of text consent and opt-outs so we can keep honoring a STOP.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. You can keep using One Tap Pickleball by email.
- Email us at contact@claytonmethod.com to see, correct or delete your information.
Security
Sign-in codes are one-time and expire quickly. Sessions are stored as secure, hashed tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
One Tap Pickleball is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
